The Walloping Sodbury Gravediggers' Association (post-production)

Kat and Celia are digging a grave for Derek. Don’t worry – they didn’t kill him: he passed away peacefully on Tuesday, at precisely the same time that Celia arrived in the remote village of Walloping Sodbury. People are saying his spirit called her as it left his body. Celia thinks it was God, and that she should be punished. Hence the gruelling grave-digging. She rebuffs Kat’s attempts to strike up a friendship: she’s here to repent for living a selfish life.

But when Kat needs reassurance at Derek’s funeral, Celia’s resolve wavers. Later, as they fill in the grave, Celia instigates a funeral for her old self, and the two women bury the past with Derek, and christen Celia anew in the name of the Walloping Sodbury Gravediggers’ Association.
