​Our first short film NEW SHOES is in the festival circuit with screenings at Oxford Shorts Film Festival and making the 75 Filmmakers to Watch list at the Women X Film Festival. Our next three short films are in post-production all telling inspiring, funny and impactful stories. Continuing the themes of exploring queer identity, THE WALLOPING SODBURY GRAVEDIGGERS ASSOCIATION is a micro short filmed in the unique Wolves Lane Centre, currently being developed into a TV show.
Our other projects to watch out for include, ASHES AGAIN! starring Christopher Eccleston (Doctor Who) alongside dazzling newcomers Lily Chapman and Vinny Moli hitting the festivals in 2025. Similarly, award winning short ALONE WITH YOU was shot on the Isle of Man is in post-production. ALONE WITH YOU won the Lift-Off Global Network Best Screenplay 2023 and was awarded Isle of Man Arts Council funding.

With a background in mental health research and experience in high-end TV and feature films, Evelyn brings a collaborative, people-focused approach to filmmaking. Halfway Up Productions specialises in female-centered stories and champions emerging underrepresented talent, prioritising diversity, mental wellbeing, and inclusion on and off the screen. By nurturing teams and telling authentic, relatable stories, Evelyn is dedicated to elevating representation in the film and TV industry, one step at a time.
